Restricted GMDSS – Radio Operators License (RG)

Overview

This practice test book contains the entire set of newly revised FCC test questions and focuses on areas covered on the Restricted GMDSS Radio Operator's License (RG) final exam. The questions included in this book are current and complete as of the printing date of this publication and are the only ones used to create the Restricted GMDSS Radio Operator’s License Examination (FCC Elements 1 and 7R).

To obtain a new or upgraded restricted operator license, you must pass an examination administered by a Commercial Operator License Examination Manager (COLEM). Mariners Learning System is an approved COLEM and offers examinations online in a 24/7 anytime, any day format.

Although Mariners Learning System is authorized to administer the examination, the actual License will be issued by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) Licensing Division.
