The OUPV/Six-pack Captain's License is required for those wishing to offer fishing and sailing charters, drive a dive boat, or run sightseeing tours, etc. This license is commonly refered to as a "Six-pack" because it allows the holder to take up to six paying passangers and crew on the water. The OUPV Upgrade to Master Captain's License course provides an opportunity for the holder of an OUPV/Six-Pack Captain's License to raise their grade to a Master-level license. The 25/50/100 Ton Master Captain's License allows the holder to operate inspected vessels as well as uninspected vessels. View Details |
The 25/50/100 Ton Master License allows you to perform the duties of an OUPV/Charter Boat Captain and also operate Inspected Passenger Vessels that are approved to carry 7 or more passengers. In order to carry seven or more passengers "under sail" a Sailing Endorsement is also required. View Details |

The Deck License Renewal course provides mariners an opportunity to renew their U.S. Coast Guard License. Certificates that the Coast Guard will accept in lieu of actual time on the water will be awarded upon completion. View Details |
The Towing Endorsement is required if you will be engaged in towing a disabled vessel for payment. Any USCG license of 200 gross tons or less, including an OUPV/Six-pack License, may be endorsed for assistance towing. View Details |
The Sailing Endorsement is required if you want to operate an Inspected Sailing Vessel. This endorsement allows the licensed Master to carry 7 or more passengers while under sail on an inspected vessel. View Details |

Sample Classroom
Click the sample screen image just above to view the live Mariners Learning System™ Online classroom. Here you will find four Modules, Deck Safety; Deck General; Rules of the Road; and Piloting and General Navigation.
By selecting the Module I (DECK SAFETY) Tab you will find that the Marine Radiotelephone chapter is available for you to enter the classroom and take the lesson. It is recommended that you begin with reviewing the Lesson Plan and follow the Module Structure. Once you have finished the lesson be sure to complete the online quiz and review your results.
While in the demo classroom you can select the different Module Tabs to view the Chapters contained in the OUPV/Six-pack classroom. In addition you can select the Help/Podcast/Video and Resources Icons to get a better idea of the additional learning materials available to our students. These links are not live, however, you will be able to get a good feel for how the Mariners Learning System™ Online classroom streamlines the learning process.
